Julee Kaplan is a freelance writer, editor and consultant in New York. She has been covering the business side of the fashion industry since 1999, having spent ten years as a reporter at Women's Wear Daily. Kristen Somody Whalen
As one of New York City’s most sought-after event photographers, Kristen Somody Whalen has documented the glittering moments of elite Manhattan society. Her work has been published in a number of fashion magazines, including Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, Women’s Wear Daily, InStyle and V Magazine. A native of Connecticut, Whalen began her career as a photojournalist, later becoming the Photo Research Editor at Harper’s Bazaar. Whalen lives in NYC with her husband.

Noa Griffel
Noa Griffel delved into photography and digital imaging at an early age, receiving her BFA in Photography at the age of 17. During an internship at Atlantic Records, her talent was discovered by Lyor Cohen, North American Chairman and CEO of Recorded Music for WMG. Noa now shoots for a variety music and fashion industry clients and her work has appeared in O: The Oprah Magazine, Vogue China, Harper's Bazaar, Glamour UK, Tatler, Grazia and Elle. Noa also holds an MFA in Computer Art from The School of Visual Arts.
Rachel Felder
Rachel Felder is a New York based writer, expert on trends and style, and brand consultant. Her work has appeared in outlets such as People, Rolling Stone, The Financial Times, Travel and Leisure, New York Magazine and many more. She is author of Manic Pop Thrill, a book examining the connection between music and style, and co-author with Coach's Reed Krakoff of the book Fighter. Currently working on a novel about her misspent youth in the music industry, she is typically found wearing MAC Ruby Woo red lipstick, listening to Ramones records, and carrying a vintage Chanel bag. Eric Perry
Eric Perry came to New York from the small town of Mooresville, Indiana (population 12,000) to sow his oats as a graphic designer and art director. Since arriving in 2006, Eric has worked in brand management and development, book cover design, and art directed three global fashion magazines (including WWD Accessories, Menswear, and WWD Collections). In his free time Eric performs the trumpet in the Lesbian and Gay Big Apple Corps marching band (LGBAC). Eric serves as Creative Manager for SaksPOV.
Erica Johasky
A native of Houston, Erica Johasky shares her love of shoes with followers of Saks’ 10022-SHOE Tumblr, where she struts, poses and steps out in a dizzying collection of designer heels, all in celebration of Saks Fifth Avenue’s shoe floor. Erica is on her toes in the kitchen, too, where she’s been known to make dinner for twelve while wearing six inch stilettos.
Melanie Kwong
Melanie Kwong is the Saks Fifth Avenue Social Media Community Manager, responsible for the Saks social channels from Facebook and Twitter to Instagram and Pinterest. Her background in social media comes from her experience as an Account Manager at the social media agency Attention and the world of public relations, having worked at LaForce & Stevens as a Social Media Specialist and Event Coordinator at New York Magazine. When not checking her multiple iPhones (as a social media maven, of course one just isn’t enough!) she’s attending concerts, food festivals or making friendship bracelets.
Alexis Clark
Texas native Alexis Clark took a circuitous path to her career in journalism. After a stint as an assistant buyer at Neiman Marcus, she enrolled in a graduate school at the University of Virginia. After earning a Master’s degree in government, she applied to Columbia Journalism School, and upon acceptance, moved to New York. After graduation, she joined the staff of Town & Country magazine, where she spent more than eight years as an editor covering weddings, philanthropists and charitable events across the country. Born with an insatiable appetite for over-sharing, Jenn Falik has been revealing her beauty and fashion favorites on television shows including Today Show, E!
