In Manhattan, there is that one remarkable day that rolls around every year. It’s the moment when New Yorkers just know instinctively that yet another cold winter is gone and that spring has arrived. Haute fragrance house Bond No.9 captured the majestic essence of first spring’s first days in its newest fragrance, Central Park West. Exclusive to Saks, the collection is part of the six New York Park eau de parfum series — with scents such as Grammercy Park, Madison Square Park and, of course, Central Park. The new scent channels the flora that bloom along Central Park West, the fabled thoroughfare across from Central Park. A bewitching blend of narcissus, ylang ylang and piquant pepper are the top notes, followed by touches of orris, jasmine, linden, gardenia and vetiver.
The flacon that houses the fragrance echoes the neighborhood in the springtime with a pistachio and purple hound’s tooth print finished with a detachable bracelet with a pink flower.
