It’s quite fitting that Tori Praver is an expert on beach attire. The statuesque model has graced the likes of Sports Illustrated’s fabled swimsuit issue as well as countless other publications. “I grew up in Hawaii and always had a passion for bikinis and swimwear,” says Praver. “Creating my own line was something that I always wanted to do.”
Founded five years ago, Tori Praver Swimwear captures the latest trends for the season. “My new spring/summer line features bright pops of color and color-blocking,” says Praver. “I love to mix and match my tops and bottoms — it allows you to get really creative with your bikini choice this summer.”
In addition to trends in color, Praver’s collection offers silhouettes for a range of body types. “I have many one-piece suits in my collection that are ideal if you’re not into showing your tummy,” says Praver. “I love the Luna and the Marilyn — they are great options to have less skin exposed.” As for shapely and confident beach goers? “If you’re curvy but still want to wear a bikini, I think it’s most important to wear a suit that fits you right and doesn’t cut into your hips,” says Praver. “As long as you feel comfortable, you will look great!”
When she’s not designing or modeling, Praver sneaks in one of her favorite past times. “I love to surf! It’s something that I don’t get to do as much now that I split my time between California and New York.”
